LOVES PARK, IL (April 26, 2009) – Mother Nature just doesn’t want to see any racing at Rockford Speedway this weekend as inclement weather has once again forced the cancellation of a season-opening event, this time the 32nd annual Spring Classic. The event will not be rescheduled for a third time after weather forced a postponement last Sunday as well. Over a half an inch of rain had already fallen overnight and showers were expected to continue throughout the day forcing the cancellation.
