Swiss Colony All-Star Challenge Update from Madison International Speedway

Here's an early update from the BRP Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet Swiss Colony All-Star Challenge at Madison International Speedway. There are 43 Big 8 Series late models in attendance today.

The fast-timer tonight was Ross Kenseth, the points leader for the Big 8 Series and the winner of the Big 8 Series opening "Joe Shear Classic" in May at Madison International Speedway, with a time of 18.756 seconds.

The invert was 13, putting Kyle Shear on the point for the 38-lap feature tonight with Casey Johnson on the outside.

The first last chance race was won by Michael Bilderback, the runner-up in this event last year. Also advancing to the feature were Brady Liddle, Kyle Jarlsberg, John Ovadal Jr. and A.J. Henriksen.

MIS regular Scott Broughton picked up the win in the second last chance race. Ricky Bilderback, James Swan, Sonny Schoffen and Tyler Kelley also made the show.

Ed Szelagowski Jr. and Vern Fagerberg received provisionals and will start the feature at the rear of the field.
