Jefferson, WI- Wisconsin’s only Tuesday night short track special event, taking place Tuesday night June 14 at Wisconsin’s Action Track Jefferson Speedway will now feature the popular Sportsman division as well as the Bandits as they take on the big oval for the first time in division history. The Big 8 Late Model Series will highlight the midweek special as the top drivers from across Wisconsin and Illinois will compete in a seventy eight lap feature.

Arguably the most competitive class each week at Jefferson Speedway as well as neighboring tracks, the Sportsman drivers will battle two and three wide for 35 laps. For the first time in track history, the Bandits will be invited to compete on the big track at Jefferson. The industry standard Jefferson Sportsman rules will be utilized for the $250 to win, $75 minimum Sportsman event while common Bandit rules will be enforced for the $125 to win, $35 minimum event. Spectator gates will open at 5:30, qualifying for all three divisions will begin at 5:30pm with racing getting underway at 7:30. Adult admission tickets are $15, students (12-15) and seniors (over 65) are $12, children (8-11) $5 with kids under the age of 8 admitted free.
