Entry forms for the Madison International Speedway Big 8 Series event taking place Saturday September 25 and the October 2 Big 8 Series portion of the National Short Track Championships at Rockford Speedway are now available at www.big8series.com. Both event will utilize the fan friendly progressive racing format that has produced three feature winners in as many events, including two first time victors. The 2010 Big 8 Series season will conclude on Saturday October 9 during Oktoberfest Race Weekend at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway.

A cell of strong storms and the threat of looming inclement weather and precipitation throughout the evening has forced the postponement of the second BRP Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet event of the 2010 season tonight. The race at 'Wisconsin's Fastest Half-Mile', Madison International Speedway, has been rescheduled for Friday, July 2nd.
The Entry Form for the June 18 Big 8 Series event at Madison International Speedway is now available.
The Big 8 Series Late Models will head to Madison International Speedway on Friday Night June 18 for a 48 lap feature event, utilizing the popular Progressive Racing format to set the feature field of 24 cars which will include Champions and Challengers from weekly short tracks across Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. The Big 8 Series event originally announced for Memorial Day Monday May 31 at Golden Sands Speedway will not be taking place, our next event will be announced this week, slated for Madison International Speedway in June. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to a great season.
