Swiss Colony All-Star Challenge Update from Madison International Speedway

Here's an early update from the BRP Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet Swiss Colony All-Star Challenge at Madison International Speedway. There are 43 Big 8 Series late models in attendance today.

The fast-timer tonight was Ross Kenseth, the points leader for the Big 8 Series and the winner of the Big 8 Series opening "Joe Shear Classic" in May at Madison International Speedway, with a time of 18.756 seconds.

The invert was 13, putting Kyle Shear on the point for the 38-lap feature tonight with Casey Johnson on the outside.

Ross Kenseth Rallies to Take Home the Joe Shear Classic 38

OREGON, WI. (Sunday, May 3, 2009) – Ross Kenseth did it again tonight, collecting his third career BRP Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet feature win in the Joe Shear Classic 38. The 15-year-old Kenseth rallied from a sluggish start using a little bit of luck to best a field of 51 Big 8 Series late models at Madison International Speedway and in the process, bringing the packed house to their feet in approval.


Joe Shear Classic Update from Madison International Speedway

Here's an early update from the BRP Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet Joe Shear Classic 38 at Madison International Speedway. The feature will be starting in 20 minutes.

Skylar Holzhausen and Brady Liddle won the two BRP Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet Last Chance Races.

Also advancing in the first Last Chance Race were Rich Schumann Jr., Chad Stevens, and Tim Sargent.

Advancing to the feature from the second Last Chance Race were Steve Apel, Todd Schmitz, and Casey Johnson.


BRP Big 8 Series Returns to Madison Swiss Colony All-Star Challenge

Rockford, IL- The BRP Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet Late Models will once again be in competition during the Swiss Colony All-Star Challenge at Madison International Speedway, Tuesday night June 30. Last year’s event came down to the wire as Ryan Carlson topped young Michael Bilderback by less than an inch at the finish line, thrilling the stellar short track crowd.

MILLER MAKES A LAST LAP MOVE TO WIN AT MADISON

OREGON, WI (Sunday, May 04, 2008) – Jeremy Miller and Michael Bilderback got the large crowd on hand at Madison International Speedway on their feet as the two put on a classic short track battle in the Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet feature event. At the checkers, it was the defending champion holding off the young pilot.
