It’s often said that it takes several different components to make a championship caliber driver. Firstly, the equipment must be there for a driver to compete. Also that driver must have more than an average amount of skill to wheel the great equipment. But also, no matter how good a driver and his equipment are, that driver can always use a little luck to go there way and push them towards their ultimate result.
Ryan Carlson has set a Big 8 Series track record at Wisconsin International Raceway with a time of 20.690. He rolled a fourteen for a complete invert.

BURLINGTON, WI (Monday, July 28, 2008) – One of the Midwest premier racing events returns to Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna, WI on Tuesday, August 5th with the running of the SCAG Power Equipment Dixieland 150. This will be the ninth event in the 2008 American Speed Association Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment and the fifth event for the BRP Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet.
